Part-time · Paid per event · Remote from the US or Europe · Independent contract
MUST Company needs a senior Web3 marketer to plan and run our brand at events — conferences, side events, launches and online sessions — and turn each one into real leads and partners. You set the plan, write the words that matter most, and direct the freelancers, agencies and AI tools that do the rest.
The work comes event by event. A 1-day side event may need a week of preparation; a major conference may need a month. You are paid for the working days each event really takes.
At a glance
- Work: event by event — conferences, side events, launches, AMAs and online sessions
- Time: varies per event, from a few days to about a month, preparation included
- Pay: a fixed fee per event, paid in US dollars, based on a day rate of US$400-900 depending on your location and experience. Negotiable, and agreed before each event starts
- Expenses: travel and event costs are paid separately, agreed in advance
- Contract: independent contractor; you handle your own taxes
- Location: remote, from the United States or Europe
- Meetings: a kickoff call for each event during Korea (KST) hours, then written, async updates
- Term: no minimum. Strong results bring more events, and the role can grow or become full-time if both sides want it
How pay works
Before each event, we agree three things together:
- Scope: the event, its goal and what you will deliver
- Working days: preparation + event days + 1 day for follow-up and reporting
- Fee: working days × your agreed day rate, paid as one fixed fee
For example, a 1-day side event with a week to prepare is usually 3–5 working days. A 3-day conference with a month to prepare is usually 8–12 working days.
About MUST Company
We are a South Korea–based company building AI-native products, with teams across Asia and Africa. Our Web3 work includes on-chain registry, verification and governance for real-world assets, starting with mining. Now we are building the brand that takes this work to Western markets.
How we work
- Owners, not employees. You own each event like a founder: set the goal, make the call, answer for the result.
- Find it, fix it. See something broken in our product, message or process? Say so and bring the fix, even outside marketing.
- Direct and fast. You work with the founders. Good ideas become decisions in days, not quarters.
- AI-native. AI does the heavy lifting. You own the judgment.
- Written and async. Clear written updates beat long meetings.
- Outcomes over hours. We measure what each event produced, not when you were online.
What you will own
- Event plan. Which events to join, host or skip, and what each one should achieve.
- Positioning. One clear message for each audience we meet: asset owners, investors, developers and the crypto community.
- Preparation. Guest lists, invitations, speakers, content and promotion before the day.
- Partners and KOLs. Co-hosts, media and key opinion leaders (KOLs) who bring the right people.
- On the day. Run our presence yourself, or brief the people who do.
- Follow-up. Leads handed over within days, and a short report: who came, what it cost, what it produced.
- Trust. Fair, clear, never misleading. No return promises, paid posts always disclosed, EU (MiCA) and US (FTC) rules respected.
- Leverage. Brief freelancers, agencies and AI tools so a few focused days deliver full results.
How each event runs
- Brief: we agree the goal, scope, working days and fee.
- Prepare: guests, partners, content and promotion — from a few days to a month ahead.
- Deliver: the event itself, in person or online.
- Report: within a week — attendance, qualified leads, cost per lead and what to change next time.
Requirements
Must have
- Experience: 5+ years in marketing, including 2+ years leading brand, event or growth marketing for a crypto or Web3 product.
- Events: you have planned and run Web3 or tech events — conferences, side events or launches — and can show what they produced.
- Positioning: you have owned a product's message and kept it consistent across events, website and social.
- Writing: you write the key copy yourself — invitations, launch posts, threads — and it works for engineers and newcomers alike.
- Web3 fluency: wallets, tokens, stablecoins, DeFi, real-world asset (RWA) tokenization and on-chain data.
- Channel sense: you know how X, Telegram, Discord and KOL programs really work, including how to spot fake engagement.
- Data: UTM and referral tracking, on-chain attribution (for example Dune or Nansen), and cost per lead.
- Judgment: safe messaging on tokens, returns, security and regulation.
- Lean leadership: you have directed agencies, venues or freelancers and held them to results.
- Self-direction: comfortable with async, written work across time zones, in professional English.
