Job summary

Google is seeking a Web Solutions Engineer for the gUP Distribution Technology team to design, develop, and maintain distribution platforms that scale across Google products. You will work with cross-functional partners to deliver features that drive reach and engagement, leveraging a strong foundation in full-stack development and distributed systems.

The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, collaboration with product managers, and building robust APIs and tooling to support Google’s product

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
4 years of experience in full-stack software development and system design.
Experience with front-end languages (e.g., JavaScript or TypeScript).
Experience with backend languages (e.g. Java, Python, or C++).
Experience working with database technologies (e.g. SQL, NoSQL).

Responsibilities

Drive feature changes using data-driven insights by analyzing large data sets to identify opportunities for improvement.
Optimize front-end code and tools in collaboration with engineers to meet user needs.
Identify, recommend, and prioritize new web features and applications with business stakeholders.
Work with cross-team stakeholders to understand the user experience and ensure optimization.
