Job summary

Google is seeking a Web Solutions Engineer III for the YouTube Business Technology team. The role focuses on building and supporting tools and systems that make YouTube's operations more efficient, with rapid impact and close collaboration across product and engineering teams.

You will work on elegant, scalable full-stack web applications, write design docs, review code, and help prototype proofs of concept while adhering to Google’s software development standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in software development.
• 4 years of experience in full-stack software development and system design.
• Experience with front end languages (JavaScript/TypeScript) and backend languages (Java/Python/C++).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and improve scalable full-stack web applications using standard Google tools.
• Analyze problems and develop solutions, identifying dependencies and resolving issues.
• Contribute through design documents, tests, and code (JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, SQL).
• Collaborate with cross-functional users to identify pain points and devise solutions.
