As the Web Production Manager, your passion for detail and website production will be applied daily. You will leverage your knowledge of digital marketing and web production to develop engaging, effective sites and campaign landing pages for various business units across Cengage.

What You'll Do Here

1. Serve as the main contact for web marketing projects, working with internal stakeholders to meet team and business goals.
2. Provide hands-on direction for website creation, maintenance, campaign landing pages, experiments, interactive features, and performance reporting.
3. Drive projects to completion through effective project management, communicating status, organizing meetings, and coordinating resources.
4. Lead processes and serve as the primary contact with business owners.
5. Use tools such as JIRA, Confluence, WorkFront, and Slack for communication.
6. Conduct design and implementation reviews, research, resolve issues, and escalate when needed.
7. Possess a deep understanding of CMS systems and site architecture used by content contributors.
8. Ensure consistent web tools and methodologies.
9. Oversee creation of governance documents, use cases, and maintenance requests for continuous improvement.
10. Understand SEO goals and implement strategies across websites.
11. Collaborate with domain authorities to enhance web design, usability, accessibility, legal compliance, and performance.
12. Design scalable processes to support marketing campaigns.
13. Contribute to knowledge bases and training curricula for CMS best practices and support.
14. Stay updated on web technologies relevant to digital marketing and recommend their use.

Skills You Will Need Here

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Science, Web Design, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Digital Marketing, Web Development, UX/UI, Marketing Automation, Project Management, or IT Management.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and overseeing external vendors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Hands-on CMS experience, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization.
• Experience with web analytics tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, LightHouse.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks.
• Experience with webpage conversion optimization strategies.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to resolve issues and navigate obstacles effectively.
• Motivation to learn and apply new tools and concepts quickly.

Preferred

• Experience with website personalization and conversion frameworks.
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Compensation

We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package. The salary range is $67,000 - $80,000 USD, with individual pay varying based on qualifications, experience, location, and other factors. Sales roles may include additional incentives.
