Job summary

Walsworth is seeking a Web Press – Operator II to support Operator I by maintaining maintenance and training programs for the press and by assisting in inventory of supplies and spare parts. You will operate, clean, and maintain press equipment, manage paper rolls, verify production counts, and ensure proper documentation.

The role requires two years of press operations experience, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and a readiness to work extended hours as needed in a fast-paced production

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ experience in Press Operations required.
• Ability to lift 30–75 pounds and stand for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operating, cleaning, and maintaining press equipment.
• Change paper rolls and perform assigned production tasks.
• Inspect work and sample copies to ensure highest quality.
• Verify production counts and ensure Autocount entries and printouts are accurate.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of press area and logs.
• Follow all safety procedures including PPE and chemical handling.
• Participate in maintenance programs and ensure logs and reports are up to date.
• Assist with training new and existing crew members.
• Ensure resources such as supplies are available and report shortages.
