Job summary

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) invites applications for a Web Operations Specialist in Austin. The role supports governance, performance, and reliability of public-facing and internal web properties, handling content maintenance, DNS/SSL, and procurement coordination in a hybrid/telework environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years with websites or CMSs (Drupal preferred), analytics skills, and experience coordinating projects, vendors, and renewal processes while upholding

Qualifications

• Must have three years’ experience supporting websites, web platforms, content management systems, or web operations.
• Experience creating, editing, publishing, or maintaining website content using established design and brand standards, accessibility standards and workflows.
• Experience coordinating projects, tracking deliverables, managing deadlines, and communicating status to stakeholders.
• Experience using website analytics, reporting tools, or performance data to identify trends and improve content/navigation/performance.
• Experience with DNS, SSL certificates, domain name renewals, web hosting coordination, or related web operations tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, governance, performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of public-facing and internal web properties.
• Manage content maintenance, analytics reporting, and technical administration of DNS, SSL, and domain renewals.
• Coordinate with program areas, communications staff, IT teams, procurement, vendors, and leadership to ensure accessible, secure web services.
