Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services in Austin, TX is seeking a Web Administrator III to design, update, and maintain Internet, intranet, and external portal solutions. The role reports to the director of provider finance and involves working with technology partners to resolve website issues and improve service delivery.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least three years of web design/development experience.

Bachelor's degree required in CS/IT/web design or related field
Three years’ experience in web design, web development, web administration, or maintaining web applications
Relevant experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis

Responsibilities

Analyze the layout of Internet and intranet pages for efficiency and effectiveness and prepare graphics, text, and tables
Develop, implement, and maintain web applications, software solutions, and systems integration projects
Maintain the day-to-day operation and administration of Provider Finance websites and web content
Design and maintain infrastructure necessary to deliver Internet access and web hosting services
Design and implement new or revised web methods and solutions that meet agency and Provider Finance needs
Determine operational, technical, and support requirements for the operation and maintenance of databases, text, and graphics
Interact with the agency information management team or hosting agency to address hardware or software issues affecting websites
Perform related work as assigned
