Job summary

Gordon State College is seeking a Web and Graphic Designer to manage and enhance the college’s web presence while producing marketing materials. You will ensure accessibility, visual consistency, and branding across digital and print collateral in alignment with USG standards.

Responsibilities include site updates, asset creation, and collaboration with stakeholders to meet enrollment and institutional priorities. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and CMS is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Digital Media, Visual Communications, Marketing, Communications, or related field with 2 years’ experience; or an Associate’s degree with 4 years’ experience.
• Experience managing websites using a CMS.
• Working knowledge of ADA/WCAG accessibility standards.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, update, and maintain the institutional website ensuring accuracy and engagement.
• Create and deliver print and digital marketing materials supporting enrollment and brand.
• Coordinate website updates with campus stakeholders and content owners.
• Ensure accessibility compliance and promote inclusive digital practices.
• Collaborate with IT and USG offices on CMS-related updates and issues.
• Develop and uphold web governance standards and documentation.
