With Honor Action seeks a Web & Digital Operations Specialist to maintain and optimize its digital infrastructure. This independent contractor role focuses on fast, secure, and accessible web properties, accurate analytics, and supporter engagement.

The role supports multiple sites, tracks campaigns with GTM/GA4, and ensures data integrity across email and social channels. 3-month term, 40 hours/week, in-office in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• Experience managing WordPress websites in nonprofit or advocacy contexts.
• Ability to troubleshoot website issues independently and communicate with developers.
• Familiarity with SEO, site performance, and web accessibility best practices.
• Experience with email marketing platforms and audience data management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update With Honor domains including pages, posts, forms, and plugins.
• Install, configure, and test tracking pixels and tags with Google Tag Manager.
• Maintain GA4 events and conversions.
• Build and manage a consistent UTM tagging system for email, social, and campaign links.
• Monitor site performance and work with hosting/developers to resolve issues.
• Support SEO best practices, including metadata, site structure, redirects, and broken link cleanup.
• Support Mailchimp email marketing operations, including list management and segmentation.
• Troubleshoot integrations between the website, email, CRM, and social platforms.
• Coordinate with external vendors and web developers on site builds, updates, and fixes.
