Job summary

Gainwell Technologies LLC is seeking a Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain web sites and services using .NET/C#/IIS/AWS. This 100% remote role is open to candidates anywhere in the USA, with core hours 8am-5pm Pacific time and opportunities to work across cloud environments and healthcare IT projects.

You will work with AWS, SQL databases, and modern web tech while contributing to secure, scalable infrastructure and reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in .NET C#/JavaScript/WebAPI.NET and HTML/CSS development.
• Experience with GitHub version control, IIS, and renewing server certificates.
• Experience with SQL databases; WordPress familiarity is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, test, document, support and maintain Web sites built on .NET framework.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and understand processes.
• Support hosting of the website in AWS cloud environment (Windows and Linux).

Your role in our mission

• Design, develop, customize, test, document, support and maintain Web sites build on .NET framework according to business needs.
• Work with business users to gather requirements and understand business processes.
• Support the hosting of the website in AWS cloud environment both in Windows and Linux OS.
• Write unit tests and integration tests for customizations.
• Deploy customizations to test and production environments and familiarity on SQL and MySQL data bases.
• Independently troubleshoot and resolve system‑level issues related to operating systems, networking, storage, permissions, and performance.
• Identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities through system hardening, patch management, vulnerability scans, and configuration reviews.
• Monitor system health, capacity, and availability; proactively investigate recurring issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in incident response and post‑incident root cause analysis for infrastructure and security‑related events.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures for supported systems.
• Collaborate with developers, security teams, and IT stakeholders to support stable, secure, and reliable infrastructure operations.
• Escalate complex or high‑risk issues appropriately while owning resolution for standard operational tasks.

What you should expect in this role

• 100% telecommute role - anywhere in the USA.
• Must work core hours - typically 8am-5pm Pacific time.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required.

The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
