Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Job Summary: The Web Developer I writes and maintains standard front‑end and back‑end code that supports websites and web applications. Applies specialized knowledge of web code standards and frameworks to produce complex, dynamic websites and applications that meet standards required by University and governmental policy. Works under close supervision.
Additional Department Summary: Builds and maintains websites, functionality, and workflows, using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and other web development frameworks and tools. Reports to the Technical Development Librarian who manages the development team. Works collaboratively within a hybrid team.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and some web development experience.
