LaBella Associates invites a Web Developer to create, enhance, and support data-driven applications for municipal, utility, environmental, and infrastructure projects. The role collaborates with GIS staff and project teams to modernize systems, optimize databases, and deploy solutions in a collaborative, employee-owned environment.

Essential duties include web development with .NET Core, C#, EF, and JavaScript, GIS tooling with Esri, and SQL Server database work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional software, web application, or database development experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing web applications using .NET Core, C#, Entity Framework, and JavaScript.
• Professional experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing SQL queries and Views and working with relational database structures.
• Experience integrating web applications with relational databases, APIs, or other business systems.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web application development concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot software and database issues, test solutions, and document technical work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with an interest in building maintainable, user-focused solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior developers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, documentation, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines in a consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, test, and maintain web-based and data-driven applications under the direction of the Senior Developer.
• Develop custom GIS applications and tools using Esri technologies such as ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, and the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript.
• Develop and maintain web applications and integrations using .NET Core, C#, Entity Framework, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
• Translate defined business and technical requirements into reliable, maintainable application features and workflows.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, testing, deployment, and maintenance of production applications.
• Develop and maintain applications in a cloud-based environment, where required. SQL Server Integration
• Develop and maintain application databases and data structures using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and other database objects that support web applications.
• Integrate web applications with relational databases.
• Support data migration, validation, troubleshooting, and modernization of legacy database-driven applications.
• Supports data migration, validation and troubleshooting of relational databases in a cloud environment, where needed.
