Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Web Developer to join our team supporting public-facing websites built on an enterprise CMS. The role emphasizes C# backend development, ASP.NET, and secure coding practices in a DoD-aligned, agile environment.

You will work with senior developers and content managers to deliver responsive, accessible web applications, leveraging Sitecore CMS and modern front-end tech. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 5 years with BS/BA; or 9 years with a high school diploma.
• 4-5 years of experience in web development.
• Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET for backend development.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development.
• Familiarity with relational databases (SQL Server preferred).
• Understanding of secure coding practices and web development best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.NET and C# within a secure enterprise environment.
• Implement front-end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring responsive and accessible design.
• Assist in integrating and customizing Sitecore CMS for content-driven websites.
• Collaborate with senior developers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Support database interactions, including writing queries and basic schema updates.
• Follow DoD security and compliance standards for web development.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Document code, processes, and configurations for maintainability and knowledge sharing.
