Job summary

Finch AI is seeking a seasoned frontend/backend developer to design, build, and maintain responsive web applications supporting mission users in a DC-area setting.

You will work with React/Angular/Vue and RESTful APIs, ensuring accessibility, security, and high performance while collaborating with UX/UI designers, product owners, and backend engineers. DC-area relocation or onsite work is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful API integration and Git.
• Familiarity with Section 508/WCAG accessibility standards.
• Experience supporting missions for DoW, DHS, FBI, or another national security agency.
• Willingness to work onsite in the DC metro area.

Clearance:

US Citizenship required.

Location:

Washington, DC Metro Area (VA/DC/MD) — Onsite/Hybrid per program requirements. Candidates must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the DC metro area prior to start.

Salary:

$105,000–$170,000 — Commensurate with experience

Education And Work Experience

315 years of relevant experience, with placement (Mid, Senior, or Lead) commensurate with demonstrated experience. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
