We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and results-driven Web Developer to join our team. The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing responsive websites and web applications that support business objectives and deliver an excellent user experience.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and an understanding of modern web development practices. This role will work closely with designers, product teams, marketing, and other stakeholders to translate business and creative requirements into reliable, scalable, and user-friendly digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive websites and web applications.
• Build user-friendly interfaces using modern front-end development technologies.
• Develop and maintain server-side functionality, APIs, databases, and web services as required.
• Convert design concepts, wireframes, and specifications into functional web experiences.
• Optimize websites for performance, scalability, accessibility, responsiveness, and search-engine visibility.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues affecting websites and applications.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent functionality.
• Integrate third-party APIs, platforms, plugins, and other digital services when needed.
• Maintain clean, organized, secure, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, content teams, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Monitor website performance and identify opportunities for technical and user-experience improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience in web development or a related software-development environment.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks or libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with server-side technologies and programming languages such as Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, or similar.
• Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web-service integrations.
• Experience with Git or other version-control systems.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript development practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with WordPress, Drupal, Shopify, or other content-management systems.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards such as WCAG.
• Understanding of SEO principles and website analytics.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles.

Reporting Structure

The Web Developer will report to the Web Development Manager, Engineering Manager, or designated department leader and will collaborate regularly with product, design, marketing, IT, and other cross-functional teams.
