Qualifications

• Frontend development with modern JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, and responsive design.
• Backend development with server-side languages, databases, APIs, and app architecture.
• Solid web fundamentals including performance, accessibility, and security best practices.
• Proficient in writing clean, maintainable code and using version control (Git).
• Able to collaborate with designers, product teams, and other developers and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with debugging tools, testing frameworks, and deployment pipelines is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent practical experience.
• On-site development experience and familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Web Developer role based in the Greater Grand Forks Area. The Web Developer will design, build, and maintain responsive websites and web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Day-to-day tasks include developing front-end user interfaces, implementing back-end functionality and APIs, ensuring performance, accessibility, and security, and troubleshooting issues across browsers and devices. The role also involves optimizing existing features, maintaining clean and scalable code, and contributing to documentation and best practices. The Web Developer will participate in code reviews, support integration with third-party services, and continuously improve the user experience.

Qualifications

• Front-End Development skills, including experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, and responsive Web Design.
• Back-End Web Development skills, such as working with server-side languages, databases, APIs, and application architecture.
• Solid Web Development foundations, including understanding of web standards, performance optimization, accessibility, and security best practices.
• Strong Programming skills with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code and work with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, product teams, and other developers, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with debugging tools, testing frameworks, and deployment pipelines is beneficial.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in an on-site development environment and familiarity with Agile or similar methodologies is a plus.
