Job summary

GRVTY in Chantilly, VA, seeks a Web Developer to own the development of training courses and learning solutions across multiple modalities, including WBTs, portals, and media, while ensuring accessibility and compliance with Sponsor requirements.

You will collaborate with Sponsor SMEs and instructional design teams to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate courses, and coach instructors in delivery techniques.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Experience with SharePoint.
• Experience with Joomla – conversion from Joomla 3 to Joomla 5; ability to create, manage, and maintain Web-Based Training (WBT) solutions.
• Demonstrated experience using PowerShell for data ingestions and running scripts in SharePoint.
• Demonstrated experience using Joomla site design and site administration; Joomla 3 to 5 conversion.
• Experience creating and maintaining WBTs.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience using AI tools and integrating AI into workflows.

Job description

What You'll be Owning

The qualified Web Developer will be responsible for developing new courses and learning solutions in a variety of delivery modalities: making major revisions to existing courses; establishing standards for the design, development, and evaluation of courses; providing guidance material; and coaching new instructors in course delivery and instructional techniques. This is a team-oriented environment and one will be responsible for consulting with the Sponsor's Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to handle a variety of activities related to curriculum design, development, and training delivery to include but not limited to: needs assessment, instructional-related research and analysis, course and lesson creation, design, development, delivery, assessing and soliciting feedback and programmatic evaluation.

Our team will be working closely with Sponsor management, instructional design teams, and SME instructors to determine technical requirements for learning solutions. As part of the team, the Web Designer will be in an environment where research, design, development, documentation, and implementations of media products and artifacts are created and deployed in support of training courses for the Sponsor. Our team will be responsible for creating training materials such as WBTs, online training courses, online training portals, websites, graphics and visuals for print and online consumption, and video projects. The team will maintain WBTs, online training courses, online training portals, websites, graphics and visuals for print and online consumption, and video projects. In this environment, the team will be responsible for in-class learning technologies (such as audience response system), general photography needs, process documentation for continuity of operations, maintaining the code and processes, maintaining knowledge management repositories, usage of project tracking systems and processes, and ensuring all activities and products are in compliance and consistent with the Sponsor's requirements, all relevant legal restrictions such as accessibility (Section 508), privacy and copyright.

What You Must Have

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
• Demonstrated experience in SharePoint
• Experience with Joomla – specifically the conversion from Joomla 3 to Joomla 5 – is a key requirement, as is the ability to create, manage, and maintain Web-Based Training (WBT) solutions
• Demonstrated experience using PowerShell for data ingestions and running scripts in SharePoint.
• Demonstrated experience using Joomla site design and site administration; considerable skills and knowledge in Joomla 3 to 5 conversion.
• Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining WBTs.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience using AI tools – both internal and external – including the ability to integrate AI into workflows and communicate their use to others.

What Would be Nice to Have

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Graphic Design, Multimedia Development, Online Learning, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• UX/UI Ability Certification from an accredited institution.
