Job summary

Knox County seeks a primary designer/creator for responsive, accessible web interfaces across county sites. You will own design from concept through delivery, guiding publishing staff and coordinating with Creative, Product development, and stakeholders to maintain fresh, mobile-friendly sites that meet branding and accessibility standards.

You will collaborate across teams to audit content, improve navigation, and ensure WCAG/ADA compliance while staying current with web standards and front-end

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3 years professional experience in enterprise web design and front-end development.
• CJIS certification may be required within six months of hire.
• Valid TN driver license required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with departments and subject-matter experts to understand user needs and develop accessible public-facing content and interfaces.
• Design responsive page layouts, templates, and components from concept to completion with handoff notes to developers.
