Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field (equivalent experience may be substituted).
• Experience designing modern web applications and websites with UI/UX solutions.
• Ability to resolve issues and communicate clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience with modern web programming languages and related skills.
• CJIS certification requirements during Knox County IT employment, with background check.

• Design pages, templates, and components from concept through delivery with guidance for development handoff.
• Coordinate with non-technical staff to publish clear, accessible information.
• Create responsive layouts and components for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• Apply UI/UX principles, accessibility, and information architecture to improve navigation.
• Create, edit, format, and publish web content per branding and accessibility standards.
• Audit websites for outdated or inaccessible content and remediate issues.
• Ensure ADA and WCAG accessibility compliance and lead remediation with departments and technical staff.
• Evaluate existing sites and propose navigation, layout, and performance improvements.
• Monitor analytics and performance data to improve usability and site effectiveness.
