Job summary

Skill is seeking a front-end designer/developer to refresh high-priority pages and craft new templates for academic programs. You will bridge creative aesthetics with solid HTML/CSS implementation within a CMS, ensuring a modern and engaging digital experience for students, faculty, and the wider community.

You will collaborate with the Web Manager and back-end team, iterate on designs, and contribute to a scalable frontend framework for multiple initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio showcasing website and digital design.
• Exceptional visual design with typography, usability and interaction.
• Hands-on proficiency with HTML and CSS for clean front-end code.
• Experience designing for and using CMS platforms.
• Collaborate with back-end developers on design handoff and implementation.
• Strong communication skills for teamwork and independence.
• Available during business hours to support project needs.

Responsibilities

• Refresh high-priority pages with emphasis on design and UX.
• Create templates and landing pages for new academic programs.
• Develop a scalable template/framework for multiple initiatives.
• Translate designs into semantic HTML/CSS for CMS integration.
• Produce design assets and frontend deliverables for developers.
• Collaborate with Web Manager and back-end team on iterative design.
• Iterate on designs based on team and stakeholder feedback.
• Participate in project meetings to track progress and direction.
