Union College (NY) is seeking a Web Designer & Digital Strategist to own our web presence. The role blends visual design, content strategy, and light front-end work in a Drupal environment. You will collaborate across teams in a two-person web unit reporting to senior marketing leadership.

The position is exempt, full-time, with a hybrid work option and a salary range of $75,000–$85,000 depending on experience and internal budgets.

Qualifikationen

• 4-6+ years of digital/web design experience with entrepreneurial initiative.
• Strong visual design, typography, intuitive UX/UI, and responsive design.
• Interest in user journey mapping, content hierarchy, and digital storytelling.
• Hands-on CMS experience inside Drupal is highly desirable.
• Basic front-end coding skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to implement tweaks.
• Ability to work with clients to shepherd projects across development stages.
• Adaptable and self-directed in a collaborative higher education environment.
