  • Ensure all web properties meet University and federal accessibility standards, specifically WCAG 2.1 AA.
  • Using provided content guidelines and keywords, identify SEO/GEO and accessibility issues, propose solutions, and implement appropriate resolutions.

  • Lead implementation of both incremental web updates and broader improvement recommendations as the primary point of contact for stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide technical rationale and milestone updates to stakeholder units.
  • Evaluate courses of action for site improvements, consult with Communications & Marketing experts, and make independent decisions within the scope of responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with a project manager to balance priorities and timelines across multiple projects.
  • Direct and train unit partners on web content best practices.
  • Tailor existing documentation and guidelines so others without web expertise can maintain quality in design, accessibility, SEO/GEO, and communications standards.
  • Stay current with developments in web accessibility and recommend proactive steps to maintain compliance.
Requirements

  • Basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) concepts and best practices (additional training will be provided).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
