The American Society for Hematology (ASH) seeks a Web Design Specialist to implement UX-focused updates to the ASH website within our CMS, collaborating with the Digital Content and Web Specialists.
You will create or curate digital media assets that reinforce branding, support campaigns, and ensure accessibility and usability across ASH domains. This role requires a strong eye for detail and teamwork with internal stakeholders.
The Web Design Specialist is primarily responsible for implementing user experience (UX) and design updates to the ASH website according to industry best practices. This position works closely with the Digital Content Specialist and Web Specialist to create new web pages and to redesign existing website content within the organization’s content management system (CMS). The Web Design Specialist is also responsible for the creation or curation of digital media assets including photos, videos, and graphics for the web, ensuring that assets adhere to the Society’s branding and style guide.

Requires periodic out-of-town travel.
May require the ability to stand for long periods of time.
