Job summary

The University of Kansas Medical Center is seeking a Manager of Web Design and Accessibility to lead strategic development and ongoing governance of the public website and intranet platforms. You will supervise a team of web designers and digital content analysts, guiding accessibility compliance and user-centered design across digital surfaces.

Qualifications

Five years of experience in web development or related field.
Five years of experience managing large-scale websites.
Two years of leadership experience in supervision or staff development.
HTML, CSS, and XML experience.
SharePoint Online development experience.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain KU Medical Center's public website and intranet platforms.
Supervise web designers and digital content analysts, including prioritization and mentoring.
Manage web, intranet, and accessibility projects ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
Oversee design and maintenance of CMS templates, web components, and related tools.
Lead digital accessibility initiatives and integrate accessibility best practices.
