Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented Web Content Specialist to provide professional writing, editing, and proofreading services across multiple channels. The role focuses on creating, editing, and refining content with strong QA throughout production.

Location includes Washington, DC, McLean, VA, and Remote work. A U.S. Citizenship is required and the position requires a Public Trust clearance. This is a W-2, full-time opportunity within the National Capital Region.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of experience in web content management.
• U.S. Citizenship required for this position.
• Onsite role located in the National Capital Region.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional writing, editing, and proofreading services for clear content.
• Create and refine publication materials and magazine content with QA throughout production.
• Deliverables include marketing plans, newsletters, brochures, web content, scripts, FAQs, and surveys.
• Edit publications and marketing materials at all stages of production in electronic format.
• Write and edit a variety of documents and content for publication.
• Provide editorial support for publications and related materials.
• Correct grammar, style, punctuation, and format for consistency.
• Design and format materials to meet branding and accessibility standards.
• Use CMS to upload and maintain content on agency sites.
• Optimize text for SEO and ensure compliance with Section 508.
