Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• One year professional experience in web content creation required.
• Excellent editing and proofreading skills, ensuring clarity and consistency.
• Ability to work with colleagues to continually improve the website.
• Experience embedding video and static graphic content into web pages.
• Project management skills to manage work plans, timelines, and deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, review and edit content for the Bridgewater State University website – www.bridgew.edu.
• Ensure all content uploaded onto the website meets accessibility and content standards.
• Regularly update and check for accurate content on the website.
• Collaborate to develop and build new content and functionality for the website.
• Collaborate with university units to create and update content on the website.
• Develop reports and monitor web performance statistics.
• Work with university colleagues to implement video content for the website.
• Make recommendations to Web Content Manager and Director for upgrades and changes.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in discussions about operations and direction.
• Actively support the University’s initiatives of Diversity & Social Justice.
• Related duties as assigned by Web Content Manager and Director of Web Communications.
