Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Web Communications Manager to oversee the corporate website, manage a CMS migration with an external partner, and collaborate with writers, designers, and engineers to keep content fresh and accurate.

You will drive publishing workflows, optimize for search and accessibility, monitor analytics (GA4, Search Console), and deliver engaging, on-brand web experiences for internal and external audiences while balancing multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in website management, digital content operations, or related role.
• Proficiency with WordPress, Contentful, HubSpot or similar CMS platforms.
• Basic HTML/CSS for formatting and troubleshooting.
• Strong SEO, analytics, and content strategy knowledge.
• Ability to coordinate with writers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Excellent project management and timely updates across projects.
• Attention to brand voice consistency across web properties.

Responsibilities

• Lead a complete backend website migration, vet CMS options, and manage an external agency.
• Serve as CMS platform owner post-migration and drive adoption and health.
• Manage day-to-day updates, page builds, and publishing workflows.
• Collaborate with writers, designers, and video editors to assemble assets.
• Develop and execute an ongoing SEO/AEO/GEO strategy.
• Liaise with subject matter experts to keep content accurate and up to date.
• Identify content gaps and suggest UX improvements.
• Maintain a digital content calendar for cross-department publishing.
• Monitor analytics (GA4, Search Console) to inform strategy and site refreshes.
• Manage multiple digital projects under tight deadlines.
