Job summary

Estenda Solutions is seeking a Web Application Software Developer to build reliable, usable web applications for healthcare problems. This front‑end focused role covers user interfaces and client-side logic, collaborating with analysts, product owners, and backend teams to deliver polished software.

You will design and implement component‑based UIs in React, integrate REST APIs, and apply a cloud‑ and security‑first mindset.

Qualifications

• A 4-year degree in a technical field, preferably Computer Science or related discipline.
• 5+ years of frontend development experience with React.js, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and CSS frameworks.
• Strong experience building component-based UIs and consuming REST APIs with a modern framework.
• Proven technical skills: the ability to work with APIs, query databases, and solve common problems.
• Experience with authentication and authorization patterns (JWT, RBAC, API keys).
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Strong communication skills — verbal, written, and presentation — with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A passion for learning and the ability to design and build solutions quickly.
• Empathy: you need to understand the user to be effective.
• The ability to manage your time and get things done without cutting quality.
• Comfort with change as a constant.

What Makes You Stand Out

• Experience in a regulated industry, especially healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or medtech.
• Prior experience with SMART on FHIR and EMR/EHR platform integrations.

This is a front‑end software development position, but full‑stack knowledge is beneficial.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure across core services (Web Apps, APIM, VNet, SQL), including securing cloud environments, deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
• Experience deploying and managing web applications (Azure with Bicep or Azure CLI preferred; other platforms considered).
• Experience building secure APIs in C# and ASP.NET Core, including JWT, RBAC, and API keys.
• Working knowledge of ASP.NET Core middleware, route handlers, and API layer patterns.
