Job summary

TEKsystems in Chandler, AZ seeks a Contract Web Security Engineer to configure and support layer 7 security controls for internet-facing web applications. You will manage HTTP/S, WAF, geolocation, and TLS policies within a hybrid Chandler-based team.

Ideal candidates bring strong troubleshooting skills and experience with DNS, load balancing, and enterprise change management, plus familiarity with JIRA/Kanban in a product-driven environment.

Job Description

This position is within the Inbound Web Application Security Engineering Team. Responsibilities include configuring and supporting layer 7 web security controls (rate limiting, web application firewall (WAF), bot, client lists, geolocation, mTLS, certificates) in support of internet-facing web applications. In depth knowledge and experience with HTTP/S, Web Applications, and Web Application Security Controls required. Must have solid understanding of DNS, geographic, and local load balancing and firewall policies supporting HTTP/S. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes and resolve issues across complex, multi-layer enterprise systems. Prior experience working in a product model using JIRA/Kanban. Experience working with enterprise change management.

This is a Contract position based out of Chandler, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
