Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Web Application Developer to join our Technology Solutions team. This role will support a portfolio of FDOT District 2 web applications, SharePoint solutions, Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and related production support needs.

You will work across .NET, SQL Server, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft 365, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable web solutions, while maintaining documentation and ensuring security and accessibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS / IT or related field; or equivalent practical experience developing, maintaining, or supporting web applications, SharePoint solutions, Power Platform solutions, or related business systems.
• Experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET, Visual Studio, SQL Server, and Entity Framework or EF Core is preferred.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, responsive design.
• Experience with Git workflows and basic SQL queries.
• Ability to work in client-controlled environments with access, permissions, VPN, security, deployment considerations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing FDOT District 2 web applications and related systems.
• Support .NET web apps, SharePoint Online sites and lists, Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Microsoft Forms, and Microsoft 365 processes.
• Develop web applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
• Work with existing codebases to implement new features, fix defects, and improve usability and maintainability.
• Support legacy systems by learning configurations, documenting behavior, and minimizing disruption to production users.
• Develop and maintain database queries, data models, and integrations using SQL Server, EF, and LINQ.
• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot SharePoint lists, libraries, permissions, views, and forms with 365 data sources.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Power Apps and Power Automate flows, including connectors and ownership.
• Support front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and responsive design.
• Use Visual Studio to develop, debug, test, and maintain web applications.
• Use Git-based source control for branches, commits, merges, and PR workflows.
• Assist with deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting apps in IIS and Windows Server environments.
• Diagnose issues across application, web server, database, and browser layers.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for access, environment, security, and deployment needs.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver solutions across web, SharePoint, and Power Platform environments.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for features, configurations, data sources, deployment processes, permissions, and development procedures.
• Follow team standards for coding, testing, source control, security, accessibility, and documentation.
