Position Summary

The Web and Email Specialist supports the day-to-day management of Children's Aid's website, email campaigns, and related digital platforms. Reporting to the Director of Digital Strategy, this role is responsible for maintaining website content, executing email marketing campaigns, monitoring digital performance, and supporting integrated communications initiatives that enhance user engagement and advance the organization's digital strategy.

To help children in poverty to succeed and thrive. We do this by providing comprehensive support to children and their families in targeted high-needs New York City neighborhoods. Children's Aid annually serves children and their families at over forty sites in New York, as well as through three national program models. Children's Aid is concentrating its efforts on creating cradle-through-college pathways in high-need neighborhoods, with a focus on children's health, family stability, education, and social and emotional development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Website & Email Management
  • Maintain and update website content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and organizational messaging.
  • Plan, build, test, and deploy email campaigns, including audience segmentation and A/B testing.
  • Troubleshoot website and email issues, coordinating with vendors and technical partners as needed.
  • Implement and monitor digital accessibility best practices in collaboration with internal and external partners.
Digital Performance & Optimization
  • Monitor and analyze website and email performance metrics, using data and insights to support optimization efforts that improve engagement and overall performance.
  • Provide recommendations to enhance user experience, audience engagement, and conversion across digital platforms.
  • Stay current on emerging digital tools, trends, and best practices to support continuous improvement of the organization's digital strategy.
Collaboration & General Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with communications, content, and digital team members to support integrated marketing and communications campaigns.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing websites and email marketing campaigns.
  • Proficiency with website content management systems (CMS) and email marketing platforms, such as Mailchimp, Engaging Networks, or similar tools.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Adobe Creative Suite or Canva, and Google Analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze website and email performance data to support continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
