Job summary

You will operate warp trucks, stage warps, set up the tying-in machine, inspect for defects, and perform routine maintenance while following safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred experience in textile manufacturing, weaving or related machinery.
• Able to tie knots accurately and handle fine threads.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for machine setup and minor adjustments.
• Good reading comprehension to follow instructions and specs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate warp trucks or dollies to transport warp beams.
• Replace depleted warp beams with new full beams in a timely manner.
• Stage and prepare warps and tie-equipment for tying-in.
• Load, comb, and align warp ends for the tying machine.
• Set up and operate the automatic knotting/tying-in machine.
• Verify ends match pattern before and after tying.
• Monitor operation and adjust for optimal performance.
• Inspect for defects, missing ends, or incorrect patterns.
• Report major mechanical issues to supervisor or maintenance.
• Follow safety rules and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Scan and record beams before moving them into weave room.
• Record production data as required.
