A family-owned textile manufacturer located in Greenwood, SC is seeking a Tie-In Production Machine Operator for the 3rd shift. In this role, you will operate weaving machines, ensuring the quality of cloth production while adhering to safety standards. The ideal candidate is capable of performing repairs and distinguishing colors, and must be able to meet the plant's schedules and attendance requirements. Responsibilities

• Tie in and pull over new warp while making sure all ends are drawn properly.
• Keep the tie-in machine and rack clean.
• Carry waste and clamps to proper containers.
• Help pull over warp until knots are past reed and all ends drawn properly.

Currently seeks motivated employees to help operate state‑of‑the‑art production textile machines! Your job as a Tie Operator is to run a tie machine and assist in making the final cloth production. You will be shown more description during the interview.

Job Objective

Tie in and pull over new warp getting knots through reed making sure all ends are drawn properly.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Safely operates weaving machines
• Tie warp with tie‑in machine and un‑rack warp after tying
• Repair problem warps to avoid reties
• Help pull over warp until knots are past reed and all ends drawn properly
• Carry waste and clamps to proper container
• Keep tie‑in machine and rack clean
• Assist weavers with major breakouts when time allows
• Follow safety rules prescribed by plant
• Must be able to repair warp breaks no matter where they occur
• Must be able to read basic written instructions
• Must be able to write legibly
• Must be able to perform simple math
• Must be able to distinguish colors in stock‑in‑process and waste
• Must be able to wear ear plugs, respirator/dust mask, goggles/eye protection, and other protective pieces of equipment
• Must be able to meet plant schedules and attendance requirements as specified in company policies
