Job summary

Master Halco, Inc. in Olney, Illinois is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd Shift (Monday through Thursday 3:30pm - 2:00am). This role involves operating weaving machines for the manufacturing of chain link fence and requires the ability to lift 75+ lbs regularly.

Qualifications

• Able to regularly lift 75+ lbs.
• Experience with metal forming machines such as extrusion presses and/or CNC.
• Ability to work overtime (including weekends).

Responsibilities

• Set up weaving machine for correct height and selvage.
• Retrieve specific gauge and finish of raw material with forklift.
• Start, stop, and monitor weaving operations on multiple machines.
• Correct minor problems and report major issues.
• Perform visual inspections on finished materials.
• Monitor roll length counter and remove woven wire.
