Job summary

Community Action Center of Northfield Inc seeks a versatile professional to oversee energy auditing and weatherization projects in Whitman County, WA. The role combines energy analysis, construction planning, and coordination with homeowners and contractors to implement cost-effective improvements.

Responsibilities include preparing audits and condition inspections, developing work lists, managing schedules, and ensuring safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in residential construction, home repair and energy conservation improvements.
• Willingness to obtain certifications within 1 year in energy auditing, lead hazard paint assessment and hazard reduction supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare energy audits, heat loss analyses and building condition inspections identifying cost-effective improvements.
• Develop improvement work lists for each project.
• Prepare and review Owner Agreements; integrate energy conservation education with each project.
• Prepare and maintain 1–2 month production schedules for energy audits and energy conservation work.
• Prepare bid packages, solicit bids from contractors and review submitted bids.
