Job summary

CLEAResult is seeking a Residential Weatherization Energy Auditor to perform in-home energy assessments, run diagnostic tests, and develop detailed work scopes for weatherization crews. You will evaluate homes for energy efficiency opportunities and guide customers on health, safety, and energy savings measures.

As the technical expert, you will ensure compliance with program requirements, educate customers, and coordinate with installers and program staff to complete work per specifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in residential construction, weatherization, building performance, energy auditing, HVAC, insulation, or related field preferred.
• BPI certifications or weatherization experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive residential energy audits and home energy assessments.
• Perform diagnostic testing including blower door testing, CAZ testing, ventilation assessments, and other required testing.
• Evaluate homes for health, safety, durability, and energy efficiency opportunities.
• Develop detailed weatherization work scopes based on audit findings and program requirements.
• Identify and document recommended measures such as air sealing, insulation, ventilation improvements, and health and safety repairs.
• Create clear and accurate job packets for weatherization crews and contractors.
