Job summary

Tensor invites data scientists to join the weather-focused team building perception systems for autonomous driving. Located in San Jose, you will develop perception features, quantify weather impacts on sensing, and work on robust sensor fusion under adverse conditions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Develop perception features to recognize road weather conditions, quantify weather impact on sensing, and identify sensing degradation.
Collaborate across teams to adapt sensor fusion techniques, integrate sensor cleaning system, and implement mitigation strategy to enhance autonomous driving reliability under reduced visibility.
Develop data mining, labeling, training and evaluation pipelines for model adaptation in adverse weather conditions.
Conduct tests and simulations in various weather conditions to evaluate system performance and mitigation strategy.
