Job summary

Tensor seeks engineers to advance perception for autonomous driving. You will post-process outputs from diverse sensors, track objects, and estimate kinematics to support a robust perception stack used in automotive-grade autonomous systems.

Requirements include strong C++, data structures, algorithms, and hands-on 3D point cloud processing. Experience with CUDA/OpenCL and ML libraries is highly valued. This role is based in Silicon Valley with on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms and kinematics.
• Proficiency in C++ for real-time systems.
• Experience with 3D point cloud processing and perception.
• Knowledge of multi-sensor fusion, MOT or SLAM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Post-process outputs from deep learning networks across sensors to model objects.
• Track dynamic objects and estimate their states (velocity/trajectory).
• Design metrics to evaluate perception system performance.
• Optimize system performance based on road-test feedback.
