Job summary

DTN in Bloomington, MN is seeking an Associate Weather Risk Analyst to join our Weather Operations team. You will deliver high-quality weather analysis and forecast products to customers through text, verbal, and graphical content.

The ideal candidate brings strong meteorological expertise, excels in fast-paced, schedule-driven work, and is passionate about providing accurate, timely, and impactful weather insights, including night and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or a related field.
• Strong synoptic analysis and forecasting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and forecast key global weather patterns and atmospheric conditions.
• Develop and deliver detailed text and graphical weather content using DTN tools and datasets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure forecast accuracy, consistency, and product quality.
• Monitor and resolve issues related to weather graphics creation and distribution.
• Support continuous improvement of forecasting processes and operational workflows.
