Job summary

Responsibilities

• Carry out assigned duties according to agency weatherization policies.

• Attend agency and weatherization meetings, workshops, training, seminars, and other activities.
• Learn to perform duties according to GEFA and OSHA Safety Training.
• Learn to perform weatherization work on site-built and mobile homes.
• Learn safety procedures for all weatherization tools and equipment.
• Ability to climb ladders, work on roofs, crawl through attics, etc.
• Work in environments where insect bites may occur.
• Work with blown insulation and fiberglass insulation.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws.
• Learn to use weatherization tools to analyze homes.
• Perform computer data entry as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

The Position:

We are recruiting for a full time Weatherization Field Tech to assist with carrying out weatherization policies with minimum supervision. Primarily outdoor work is performed, to include contact with all levels of employee and clients. General carpentry skills recommended.

Minimum GED, High School Diploma preferred

Hiring Range- 15.96-16.80
