Quest Global is seeking a Systems Validation Engineer in Sunnyvale, CA to lead multi-sensor system validation for next-generation wearables. You will build non-existent test capabilities, characterizing camera hardware and AI feature performance with controlled lighting, scenes, and automation.

Strong emphasis on image-quality testing and cross-functional collaboration. You will develop Python automation for high-volume, repeatable testing, create clear, actionable reports, and validate camera

Qualifications

• Masters degree with 6–10 years of experience in imaging science or related field.
• Hands-on validation of consumer imaging systems against objective IQ metrics.
• Experience with camera calibration and sensor synchronization is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Design and build validation methods for vision and sensing AI use cases, defining conditions and scenes.
• Build and own lab test capability, including lighting, targets, fixtures and calibration.
• Develop Python automation to enable high-volume testing and automated reporting.
• Investigate pre-production hardware issues and generate actionable reports.
• Validate multi-camera performance and interactions under thermal and power constraints.
• Plan system-level validation across photo, video and streaming capture.
