Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent with optics.
• 5–10 years in a system validation role for consumer electronics or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python for test automation and data analysis (pandas, numpy, OpenCV).
• Hands-on experience with ADB and device-level debugging.
• Ability to define test specs and select appropriate test equipment.
• Comfortable working across macOS and Windows.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to convey complex technical information.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end validation of tamper detection.
• Develop, extend, and maintain Python-based test automation.
• Build tooling for test setup, data collection and post-processing.
• Execute device-level testing using ADB and on-device instrumentation.
• Perform optical measurements with luminance meters and keep calibration.
• Extend scope to camera and LED luminance validation as needed.
• Analyze data with Python and generate reports with insights.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to speed validation while keeping ownership.
• Document validation methodology for cross-site reproducibility.
• Troubleshoot sensor and optics issues with hardware/software teams.
• Specify test specifications and equipment needs.
