Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. is seeking an ASSURE Patient Specialist (APS) in Lake Charles, LA to conduct patient fittings for wearable defibrillators.

The role is contractor-based with training and certification as an APS, serving as the local patient care representative for the sales organization. Will travel to hospitals and patients’ homes, provide instruction, and coordinate with prescribers and caregivers.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a paid patient care experience (not as a family caregiver).
• Clinical or engineering background applicable to medical devices.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train patients with the ASSURE wearable defibrillator.
• Schedule services by contacting prescribers, caregivers and patients.
• Travel to hospitals and patient homes to provide fittings.
• Manage inventory of kits, garments and equipment.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow hospital policies.
