Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. is seeking an ASSURE Patient Specialist to fit and train patients with a wearable defibrillator. The role supports the sales organization and Regional Clinical Advisors, delivering hands-on patient care at hospitals and patient homes in Inverness, FL.

This paid per fitting position requires strong patient-care skills, travel readiness, and credentialing for hospital access. A background in healthcare and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• One year in paid patient care experience (not as a family caregiver).
• Clinical or engineering background in healthcare settings (nurses, techs, etc.).
• Florida and Ohio Level 2 background screening; vendor credentialing during a 90-day probation.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Willingness to travel in the region; hospital and patient sites.
• Credentialing for hospital system entry; complete HIPAA and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator as directed by corporate headquarters.
• Provide instruction to patients and instill confidence in Assure patients.
• Schedule services by contacting prescribers, caregivers, and patients.
• Travel to hospitals and homes to deliver fitting services.
• Measure patients to determine garment size.
• Manage paperwork to receive the Assure garment and services.
• Maintain inventory of system kits, garments, and equipment used in fittings.
• Adhere to confidentiality requirements.
