Bose Corporation is seeking an Acoustic Engineer for Bose Labs to establish and enhance acoustic reference designs for wearable devices, including audio, noise cancellation and voice experiences.

You will work across multiple projects in a small cross-functional team, applying analytical and hands-on methods to translate foundational technologies into scalable engineering solutions for Bose-branded products.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Acoustical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in acoustical engineering including measurements and analysis.
• Experience in design or measurements of acoustical transducers including micro-drivers, MEMS microphones and MEMS vibration sensors.
• Hands-on experience designing, building and measuring physical prototypes and fixtures.
• Proficiency with MATLAB or equivalent environment for measurement and data analysis.
• Experience with lumped parameter and FEA acoustical simulation tools such as COMSOL, PSPICE, Simulink/SIMSPEAKER or equivalent.
• Ability to translate ambiguous problems into actionable engineering tasks.
• Strong communication of technical information to peers and non-technical stakeholders.

• Build and test mock-up prototypes to gain fundamental insights.

• Identify system trade-offs, risks, and dependencies for product development.
