Job summary

Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN seeks a Field Training Specialist (OJT) with senior associate to specialist career levels. You will develop training materials, implement SAT, and coordinate training for facility personnel to meet DoE and internal standards.

Ideal candidates show strong communication, organizational, facilitation and analytical skills, with a background in weapons training and a DOE-related environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (if applicable).
• DOE order and training requirements familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops and presents training materials and lesson plans for varied technical audiences.
• Implements Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) processes from analysis to evaluation.
• Tracks and schedules training requirements for facility personnel.
• Supports development of Continuing Training modules based on needs.
• Maintains training records and documents all employee training activities.
