Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Weapons Integration Engineer Sr – Level3 to design, test, and certify air‑to‑air weapon systems for the F-35 program. You will be the Weapons Integration Engineer Sr – Level3 for the F‑35 Weapons Integration Team which is responsible for delivering cutting‑edge air‑to‑air weapon capabilities to the world’s most advanced fighter.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Weapons Integration Engineer Sr – Level3 you will be responsible for designing, testing, and certifying weapon systems that empower pilots to dominate the skies. You will work hand‑in‑hand with vendors, program managers, and flight test crews to ensure every integration meets the highest standards of performance and safety.

Your responsibilities will include: Develop system design, test, and certification plans for a variety of air‑to‑air weapons. Execute integration and flight‑test activities, analyzing results and driving corrective actions. Assess design changes, identify safety risks, and provide technical mitigation strategies. Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and test reports. Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure schedule adherence.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM discipline.
  • Experience in weapons design, development, testing, and integration.
  • Experience interfacing with DoD Customers and suppliers.

  • Understanding of FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, and Root Cause Corrective Action.
  • Ability to travel domestic and international.
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
