Job summary

Strategic Management Solutions, LLC (SMSI) is seeking a full-time Weapons Data Analyst SME to support the Gas Transfer / Surveillance Systems at Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM. The role requires an active DOE Q clearance and onsite work 4–5 days per week.

The successful candidate will analyze weapon-related data, validate manufacturing data, and collaborate with engineering teams to inform production objectives while complying with safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of data analysis experience.
• Experience with DOE and weapons programs required.
• Active DOE Q clearance required.
• Ability to work onsite at LANL 4–5 days per week.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide data support to manufacturing and engineering to drive data-driven decisions for gas transfer mission objectives.
• Develop knowledge of gas transfer system engineering practices for data validation and verification of manufacturing approaches.
• Develop new methods and capabilities for reporting and analyses to enable production objectives.
• Coordinate with personnel to address production issues.
• Provide support to multiple technical projects.
• Research and review historical technical procedures as needed.
• Adhere to safety requirements for facilities with radioactive hazards (Hazard Category 2).
