Job summary

Hightower, a Chicago-based wealth management firm, seeks an experienced operations professional to manage trade execution, settlement, and cash management across client accounts. You will support post-market client service, account maintenance, and custodial coordination to ensure accurate, timely processing.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in financial services, familiarity with Schwab and Black Diamond, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or trading operations.
• Experience with custodial platforms such as Schwab is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of trading workflows, cash management, and account operations.
• Familiarity with portfolio management systems such as Black Diamond is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute trades across client accounts in line with models and advisor direction.
• Ensure accurate and timely trade settlement and reconciliation.
• Monitor cash levels and raise cash for distributions, fees, and rebalancing.
• Assist with portfolio rebalancing and implementation of investment strategies.
• Coordinate with custodians to resolve trade-related issues.
• Process client withdrawals, distributions, and money movements; coordinate ACH/wire/checks.
• Verify funding availability and documentation for all transactions.
• Troubleshoot transaction issues with custodians and clients.
• Support post-market client service requests and account maintenance.
• Maintain client records across CRM and portfolio systems; assist with linking and updates.
• Support reporting and data accuracy across platforms; ensure compliance with standards.
