Job summary

Avaloq's R&D Lab in Fort Lauderdale is hiring a Senior Solutions Architect to bridge the platform with financial institutions, combining deep investment domain knowledge with hands‑on technical skill.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales, supporting client implementations and guiding integration across API surfaces, data models, and documentation. This role requires travel to Switzerland and client sites, with hybrid, flexible working options.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in financial services technology and strong domain expertise across investment and trading platforms.
• Proven architecture experience translating complex domain models into efficient implementations.
• Experience with event‑driven, API‑first architectures and modern integration patterns.
• Clear technical material for varied audiences and strong communication skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise clients through complex implementations in banking or wealth management.

Responsibilities

• Architect and support proof‑of‑concept implementations, translating client requirements into integration designs.
• Run technical discovery with prospective clients to understand their portfolio, performance, and data requirements, and partner with Sales to address technical questions.
• Provide hands‑on technical support to client implementation teams, troubleshooting integration issues and advising on API and MCP usage.
• Shape the structure and standards for our technical documentation, covering implementation guides, API references, data models, and integration patterns.
• Design reference architectures, sample code, and integration accelerators that reduce time to value for client onboarding.
• Translate domain models such as positions, transactions, performance, and fees into clear integration guidance for client engineering teams.
